I love playing my hard copy of Cartographers and was hoping to be able to play it on my phone with my husband when he's away. From what I have tried, the app only allows you to play alone and not with anyone. The app also includes new score cards that aren't in the base game, which is cool but annoying you can't set it to the base game only when selecting the first play option. So whilst it adds a little, having the freedom to change the settings and making it basic would be appreciated.

Good SOLO version. It does say single player in the description, but it's good to be very clear. I would add my vote for pass and play. We often play games as a family on the tablet when on the train or in line at amusement parks and such. Also Cartographers has the interactive part where you can draw on others maps. If would be a big boost. Also, expansions exist. I would pay a few bucks more for them.

I have the tabletop version of Cartographers and I love it! This app is a single player version of the game, and we'll done at that. Intuitive controls and UI, with well done animations, music and sounds. However, I think it's missing the best part of the tabletop experience which is a multiplayer mode. I would personally love to see it so paid users can host (local or online), unpaid users can join games for free.
