I want to love this app, and to be fair, there's a lot to like. Offline maps, accurate traffic, good directions. A couple of things that are bugging me to no end though: there's absolutely no way to have the map be in the direction of travel on Android Auto screen when no destination is selected and no way to get rid of the search box in full screen view on Android Auto either. With those 2 issues fixed, this app would be 5*!

Noticed that one of the maps did not download completely, no maps are shown at all after a restart it was fixed. Further by using my Android Car radio (landscape mode), the very nice looking interface is quite big compared to the map. Especially the blue guidance signs in combination with information panel. This makes the display very readable (except for the map) so I guess it needs some fine tuning. For my car, I use the old app rather than the new one at the moment

What I'm missing is place synchronization with the Here account. Furthermore I'd like to search for locations of my contacts. The android auto 3D view is a bit weird with auto zoom. Why isn't 3D view available when not navigating? Please consider getting good features from Audi navigation, such as showing upcoming fuel stations, parking and restrooms at a glance and live fuel prices on the map. It's also unfortunate that updates are slow, even after new satellite images, roads aren't updated.

Thanks for the feedback! We are working on some synchronization issues that have been reported, and are working on the search contacts feature request. It's possible to search upcoming fuel/parking/restrooms, but not at a glance as the smartphone screen is quite cluttered then.
