What the ESPN App always hoped to be. Loads fast with less ads and full play-by-play and stats, not just for the events Yahoo covers (unlike Di$ney$ E$PN now). The interface was actually very quick to learn as it was similar to ESPN but without the bloat. The highlights could be better, but I can always go to YouTube if I want more extensive highlights.

Much like a lot of the recent reviews this app barely works after their mega ad push. I have a DNS ad blocker on my router and I can't get any data to load on this app anymore. It seems backwards that they prioritize loading ads over game data to where if you have an ad blocker in place nothing will load. My ad blocker doesn't allow me to filter where ads should show, it's an all or nothing deal and I'm not going to turn it off just to use this app.

It's perfect for every bit of information I need about scores, schedules, standings, rosters, and stats. Even seeing who's broadcasting a game. But it's covered with clickbaity and sensational articles. Stay away from those, and for the love of God stay away from the comments sections.
