The app is slow and Upwork has a terrible mindset with regards to security. It's just logging you out, asking you 'secret questions' I never seem to get right. I have 5 Upwork accounts because its easier to create a new account than it is to go through the hassle of trying to fill in my secret answer every time I log in. Also, I'm terrified of using any of the other security measures as I am 100% sure they will make it harder (not easier) to log in. And I work in IT!

It's fairly decent so far. It definitely has higher quality freelancers. I've just started on my first project, so I'm looking forward to the final product. For those hiring a freelancer, there is a 5% of the total amount you are paying the person Market Fee and a contract fee. my contract fee was 9.99 outlook 250.00, so I'm not sure it is a percentage or always 9.99. It also allows you to pay in parts, toocalled milestone, which you will set with yhe freelancer.Anyhow, these are detailed info.

This app was so easy to use, the person I ended up hiring was the best! I like the security of the payment being in the app until the job is finished and then released to the worker. all communication is through the app and a contract is provided but you can modify it. First time using it and can say it made my life so much easier!
