First things first: you know that smoking is bad for your body. Even so, many people continue to smoke. So why should you quit? When you quit smoking, you improve the quality and length of your life as well as the lives of those around you. One way to prepare for a successful start to your smoke-free life is to download QuitNow onto your phone.

QuitNow is a proven app that encourages you to quit smoking. It aims to help you avoid tobacco by providing a vision of yourself as a non-smoker. Quitting smoking is easier when you focus your efforts on these four sections:

🗓️ Your ex-smoker status: When you quit smoking, the focus must be on you. Remember the day you quit, and do the maths: how many days have you been smoke-free, how much money have you saved, and how many cigarettes have you avoided?

🏆 Achievements: your motivations to quit smoking: Like all tasks in life, quitting smoking is easier when you break it down into small, manageable steps. Therefore, QuitNow offers you 70 goals based on the number of cigarettes you’ve avoided, the days since your last cigarette, and the money you’ve saved. This way, you’ll start celebrating your achievements from day one.

💬 Community: the ex-smokers' chat: When you quit smoking, you need to stay within non-smoking areas. QuitNow provides a chat full of people who, like you, have said goodbye to tobacco. Spending time with non-smokers will make your journey easier.

❤️ Your health as an ex-smoker: QuitNow offers a list of health indicators to explain how your body improves day by day. These are based on information from the World Health Organization, and we update them as soon as the WHO does.

Additionally, there are more sections in the preferences screen that can assist you on your journey to quitting smoking.

🙋 Frequently Asked Questions: There are some tips for quitting smoking, and honestly, we weren’t sure where to put them. Most people looking to quit seek advice online, and there’s a lot of misleading information out there. We researched the archives of the World Health Organization to find studies they’ve conducted and their conclusions. In the Frequently Asked Questions, you’ll find all the answers to your queries about quitting smoking.

🤖 The QuitNow bot: Sometimes, you may have odd questions that don’t appear in the FAQ. In those cases, you can ask the bot: we've trained it to respond to those unusual inquiries. If it doesn’t have a suitable answer, it will contact the QuitNow team, and they will update their knowledge base so it can learn the best responses to your questions. By the way, yes: all the bot's answers are drawn from the WHO archives, just like the FAQ tips.

📚 Books to quit smoking: Knowing some techniques for quitting smoking makes the task easier. There’s always someone discussing books in the chat, so we conducted research to find out which ones are the most popular and which can truly help you quit smoking for good.

it didn't help me quite cigarettes at the beginning but after that I quite, It kept the record for me so when ever I get tempted to smoke I take a look at my records, it helps alot, for those who want to quite "THE TEMPTATION NEVER ENDS" but it's possible to quite.

It is only time based achevements app. You enter that you smoke 20 cigarettes and it counts one cigarette at approximately one hour. The count is totally wrong since you don't smoke when you sleep, but ok. Money saved are calvulated the same etc etc. I don't think it helps, and it's hilarious yo pay for a calculator.

Hello Rade 👋 Thanks for your feedback! You're right: the calculator isn’t perfect, especially for sleep time. Let us finish a smoking cessation course we're adding to QuitNow and then we will start working on the night calculations. Apart from that, we hope QuitNow is helping you to stay quit ☺️

the only thing I have an issue with is the "Mentions" page. I would like to see the chat that they responded to. Checking the chat for the people responding and I just don't remember what I said to them. please fix! 😢
