Welcome to Island War:
The continent in the center of the world was shattered by mysterious power; it became countless islands scattered across the ocean.
In this world you can be a pirate and conqueror by sending your fleet to loot weaker prey.
You can also fortify your own island and protect it from offenders.
You can gather clan mates from all over the world to become the ultimate ruler of the sea.
However, remember! A hunter can become a prey in an instant.
The strongest fortress can be turned into rubble with just the right tactics.
Game features:
-Play with millions of other players, raid and loot other islands and remember: the biggest loot is always waiting for you on the next expedition;
-Attack others and seize precious resources, upgrade your island, and build your island into a impenetrable fortress;
-Explore the unknown places and discover wizards, archers, sea monsters, ancient dragons in this sea and other troops to bring them under your command to serve you;
-Cooperate with other captains to become a new power in the sea and perform cooperative tasks.

The game is nice and offers a lot but at one point you are fighting players 5x stronger than you and that is disheartening. I would rather see a more balanced fight where losing is a close call and not a roflstomp. Ads in game are optional which is real nice. Rewards are good and nothing is paywalled. There is a lot to do. Would have been a 5 if it were more balanced and fine tuned. Good fun though. Removed after playing 6 hours in a day.

After the previous update, the game became a lot harder, especially for newer players. After the last update, the game became horrible where the developers think that 1 level 8 legendary unit equals 90 euros. They've raised the price of the units to fuse exponentially, so if you're a long time player, you notice it will take forever to upgrade your units, if you're a new player, prepare to pay to catch up or even make a chance. (P2W)

With the recent update, we made the in-game currency more valuable, so it will bring more strategy thinking and careful approach to spending it. A case of success from a game that you achieve very high levels, with high rewards and where you don't need to pay anything and don't need to see ads. At the same time it's very fun and challenging (actually it is a much better version of art of war, another game from the same producers, that is more like an idle game). This one is not idle, it has real strategy and not so boring upgrading systems, you can play while waiting defensive upgrades
