About this app

Oojao Image Editor is a powerful and free photo editor designed for Android. It supports cool effects, multiple projects/tabs and layers.

This app is ad-supported to keep it free, but ads are not annoying and can be quickly closed or temporarily turned off in Settings. And there are no ads while editing!

You can do all the usual canvas or free layer manipulation such as resize, crop, drawing, erase, draw shapes, bucket fill, select, copy, paste, delete, move, align, rotate, flip and more.

Adjust brightness, contrast and saturation with filters or apply effects such as sharpen, blur, bump, shadow and many more. Undo and redo are available, and you can also save a set of actions and presets to re-apply them later.

Save your work with layers so you can continue editing later.

The app itself is the only Image Editor I've found that has been anywhere near the features that you can find on pc programs. I've been using it for several years and even bought the now removed "No Ads Extension" as I was pleased with it. (It never worked anyway) However with each update the app itself tends to crash more and more and has more and more ads. The most recent seems to make it crash when you dont have internet access. This is an unacceptable step too far if it's intentional.

Hi, thanks for reporting these issues, we will investigate. Please remember that the app needs internet access to display ads, and you can temporary turn them off for 1week in Settings.

This editor i feel is the closest anyone has ever been to mastering an app that edits images. I don't really have much bad to say about it apart from that it doesn't always save correctly. It can correctly resize, crop, do anything.I wish you could have an outline option for images. It'd also be cool if the custom font could work with downloaded files, similar to how Text viewers work. I also wish that when you resize a layer it doesn't give you a resize limit. Otherwise good app.

Without doubt the best image editing app for android. The UI isn't the best but once you get used to it and learn what everything does/where everything is, you'll see it's more powerful than anything else on the app store. I sometimes find myself picking fault with it (wishing for more features or better functionality) but you know what, if you want the desktop photoshop experience, use desktop photoshop! Also, add frequency is amazing! (I get just 1 instant close add each time I use it)
