I was using view ranger before. There are a bunch of things outdoor active does well, but oh my God, try to put a point of interest on the map: is absolutely horrible. If you are on the map you want to just be able to add something, not get into a new window where you see the whole world map again. Then when you look for a specific point but can't find it... You look for something close, but then when you zoom in the POI moves! Oh my... Please change this soon... It's bad! Only 3 stars for now.

Outdooractive has OS maps and makes it really easy to use them. You can plan routes and the plotting line snaps to the footpaths. You can also look at other routes people have plotted and posted publicly, which is great for a new area. The blue dot showing where you are and which direction you are facing is brilliant. I use this for every walk and run.

Latest update, I can't plan routes easily now, no undo and other controls and mileage now hidden from view so you have to keep uncovering them to use or see distance planned. Been using this app for years but this latest update is terrible for route planning, totally clunky and awkward now. Why change something for the sake of it when it was absolutely fine

Thank you for your review and feedback.
Undo has been removed for now, but note you can tap a point and choose Delete, or drag to move it.
Other controls are under the 3 dots on the bottom sheet. The distance and so on are also on the bottom sheet. If you need them, keep that sheet open, plot in the top two thirds of the screen.
