Considerably better than the original yet at the cost of the first game. As much as I love this one, I hate it after how the devs left behind the first obey me. Finishing the story is difficult, same as the first game but a tad easier. I foresee a similar situation as the first game where story becomes so hard to progress that there's no point in trying anymore. The f2p experience isn't the worst, but still not the best. Getting a card you want is quite difficult, hope you get lucky or pay up.

Thank you for playing the original game as well as Obey Me! Nightbringer. We hope for your continued support of Obey Me! Nightbringer.

They took the base game and improved on just about every aspect. Story is better paced (you don't have to read the first one to get into this one) the rhythm games are enjoyable, it's much easier to get rewards and upgrade cards. A lot of assets from the base game are included here, but they made improvements on how they're used. My biggest complaint is there isn't a way to share the gacha cards from the base game to this expansion, so you start from scratch when you first download

I've been a long time fan of obey me since the original game but there's some serious updates this game needs. Events are getting too repetitive & come out too often giving you no chance to catch up to ruri tunes. The events also feel boring, you should take longer but at least make them feel more special with special animated cutscenes and voice act them. New voice acting is desperately needed so is new gameplay features since it's repetitive after awhile. Thirteen needs to be date able.
