As a premium subscriber through the developer's partnership with Dashlane, it works well enough for my needs. However, researching the more popular and costly VPNs (Nord, Express, etc.), the shortcomings of this one do show through more clearly. The biggest flaw, for me, is the lack of any option to change DNS servers, as I find Hotspot's to be fairly weak in comparison to even some free DNS server providers, and lacks any customisation feature to reinforce such.

Nice idea, but in reality doesn't work. While turned on, seems like every service knows I'm using a vpn and blocks me, so I have to turn it off. Not very secure. I'm on holiday at the moment, so hoped I could set my location as back in the UK, but it doesn't work. Also things like streaming doesn't work. It's like it's on a vpn black list. If I'm just browsing the Web it's fine, but do I really need a vpn for that? I'm using premium, free with Dashlane.

It was good until the most recent update. From when posting this, the app used to be watch an ad and get your connection for however long you want, but now it shows you multiple ads in that time, you are forced to make an account so they can send you pointless spam emails. On top of that, you can only be connected to the VPN for 15 minutes... Horrible update. I don't mind ads at all nor account creation, but only having 15 minutes of connection is just awful.
