I really think this app is a ridiculous combination of attempts to grab as much data and profit as possible. Why else on earth would you want to combine a food thermometer and 'smart home'. As far as the thermometer: the app is mediocre at best, probably due to a lack of focus, unable to easily set temperatures accurately (rolling dial) instead of up/down & simply typing the temperature. No simple function to predict when temperatures are going to be reached... No InkBird for me ever again...

I have the 4 probe wireless model for cooking. The probes themselves and the base station seem to work great. Where I'm running into issues is with the app itself. Push notifications are spotty at best. Sometimes, they work as intended, and my phone will alert me when the food is done. Most of the time, it doesn't work, though, so I can't trust it. The only push notification that seems to always work is signal loss, bluetooth disconnected even though it isn't disconnected. Please fix the app!

I use it for a wifi thermostat. the in app notification options are functionally useless. in a nutshell, there are two notify types; heat on/off and heat alarm high/low (if a critical threshold of heat occurs) the former is irrelevant and cannot be disabled independently, the latter is useful and can be disabled. so basically you have to tolerate the annoying heat on/off notification or turn off all app notify via the android app settings, thereby also missing the "device offline" function
